The Indian Community Reception served as the concluding event of Prime Minister Modi’s three-day official visit to Indonesia’s capital. The Indian leader arrived in Jakarta on Monday, July 6, 2026, and participated in numerous diplomatic engagements throughout his stay.

Following his capital activities, Modi was scheduled to journey to Yogyakarta on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, where he planned to visit the historic Prambanan Temple. This visit carries particular significance given Modi’s commitment to supporting the restoration of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
